FOUNDED IN 2017 BY ITS DIRECTOR, BARBARA ALLEN(B. MUS/L.G.S.M.), THE PASADENA GIRLS' CHOIR WAS CREATED TO CULTIVATE VOCAL MUSICIANSHIP AND GROW AND DEVELOP THE VOCAL ABILITIES OF YOUNG GIRLS IN A POSITIVE AND UPLIFTING ENVIRONMENT.

AFFORDING AN OUTLET FOR STUDENTS WHO LOVE TO SING, PASADENA GIRLS' CHOIR ENDEAVORS TO BUILD SELF ESTEEM, DEVELOP POISE AND PERFORMANCE SKILLS AND GROW CONFIDENCE WITHIN A FRAMEWORK OF CHORAL PARTICIPATION.

About PGC

Weekly choral rehearsals cover warm up techniques, music literacy, sight reading and part singing as well as choral presentation and performance techniques. The girls are introduced to different styles of vocal music such as jazz, pop, folk songs and musical theatre as well as classical vocal repertoire.

Rehearsals are Mondays at 5:30-6:30pm beginning on Monday, August 21, 2023. at Pasadena Christian School Music Department located at: 1515 N Los Robles Ave, Pasadena CA 91104 (enter through Garfield Ave parking lot)

Audition Information

Each person auditioning is required to sing a song of their choice either a cappella or with accompaniment Please bring sheet music with you if accompaniment is needed.
