BARBARA ALLEN B. Mus (Hons) L.G.S.M.

Barbara Allen originates from the United Kingdom. She is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music, London, where she studied voice performance.

Singing from a very early age, Barbara has always been passionate about music and has a particular love for musical theater, playing the lead roles in productions such as “My Fair Lady”, “The Pirates of Penzance”, “The Mikado”, “The Sound of Music” and “Charlie Girl”.

Following her success on the television Talent Show “New Faces”, she began a singing career which has spanned over three decades and has encompassed many television and theatre appearances. Barbara has recorded three solo albums and performed throughout Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. In addition to performing, Barbara also works as a professional Voice Coach, Choral Director and freelance Performing Arts Consultant for schools, theatre and television.

As a choral director She has worked with choirs backing artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Katy Perry, Michael Bolton, Susan Boyle, Jordan Smith and Kris Allen and her choirs have been featured on shows such as ‘Dancing With The Stars’, ‘American Music Awards’, ‘American Idol’, ‘Disney Music Awards’, and ‘America’s Got Talent’.

Barbara’s greatest desire is to pass on her love of singing to future generations.
